We had other carriers that were good but this one has a large opening - much easier to get an unwilling cat into. My 21/2 year old tabby flew from Ontario t Alberta and all went well. Highly recommend this carrier. Sturdy and sits nicely attached to luggage handle.
It was my first time traveling with my cat and after reviewing a lot of different carrier options, I settled on the "Odyssey" because it fit Delta's carry-on kennel dimensions and requirements. It shipped quickly and I was struck by how thoughtfully made it was with the roll-down window screen, zipper safety clips, and trolley sleeve. My cat is a big boy at 15 pounds and he had sufficient space to turn around in the carrier with the zippered top giving me the ability to easily give him some head scratches during the flight. Very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it for vet visits and maybe another trip or two.
I’ve done a lot of air travel with my cat (Aries) and although there are lots of bag options out there, none are as thoughtfully designed for air travel. The strap for your suitcase handle is fantastic, and the bag itself doesn’t stick out awkwardly when it’s under the seat in front of me (no chance of someone accidentally kicking my kitty!) It was spacious, comfy, had extra side pockets, clips for the zipper and plenty of breathable mesh windows. 10/10 🙌🏻
