I have a seriously huge cat, like size of a torso and 20 lbs of big boy. We've been wanting to take him with us and this bag is perfect!! A great size where he can, sit, stand, and even poke his head out. Which is aided by the many many spots for leashes/harnesses to attach to with 2 built in short leashes connecting it to the bag, which come in handy as we like to let him have the back open since he is people/pet friendly. It keeps him just enough in to let him know he can't jump out, but long enough he can wiggle around to get comfy. Many mesh windows that you can close or open at your pleasure, which was a pleasant surprise. Quite a large bag overall and is going to be a bit heavy if you aren't used to hiking bags. But overall a doable weight that you get used to quickly. It has sooo many pockets, both inside and out. There is an inside pouch used normally for a water pouch but due to the heat we insert some ice packs to help our kitty stay cool and it works perfectly.
My adventurous boy loves it outdoors, and his less adventurous sister loves it indoors. He’s a little too big (~13lbs of cat muscle 💪🏼) for the two of them to comfortably sit inside together. She wouldn’t want to sit that close to him anyway tbh
Great purchase, beware of putting catnip in it to jumpstart the learning process like I did - the cats chewed a hole in the sitting pad over it day one 🙈still works just fine, I might try to make a custom pillow for it eventually.
