Harness Sizing Guide
- X-SMALL (FOR KITTENS): 9.4-13.7 in | 24-35 cm
- SMALL: 13-17.7 in | 33-45 cm
- MEDIUM: 13.7-19.3 in | 35-49 cm
- LARGE: 15-21.8 in | 38-55.5 cm
Take a measurement around your cat's chest. You want your cat's harness to be snug and fitted so they can't get out of it. When you take the measurement, make sure you're getting close and tight up against your cat -- down past all the floof!
If you're between sizes, go for the bigger size if your cat is still growing, or the smaller size if they are not.

Love! Good size and secure and comfy for my kitty. Finally starting to get her outside. So happy I went with this brand! Easy to get on and off also.
This harness has taken the stress out of "walking" my two-year-old, 12-plus-lbs. cat. More accurately, it's taken the stress out of the cat walking me. Either way, it's a lifesaver for both of us. Once "Cooke's" into it (more on that in a moment), there's no way he can back out of it. So I don't worry about keeping him in front of me all the time. He also responds well when I tighten up on the leash to keep us both out of trouble; when, for instance, he wants to go somewhere where I can't follow, like under our deck. (I tried using a conventionally designed harness before I tried this one, and my efforts to redirect my strong-willed -- and strong -- cat led to much growling, hissing, and attempted Houdini acts.) The "once he's into it" part is the challenge with this harness. I've only used it a couple of times so far and Cookie hasn't been very helpful (not at all helpful, actually) about putting his feet through it, which is first "step" to getting him into it. I'm hopeful he'll eventually figure out that this harness is not a toy and that the sooner I get him into it, the sooner we get to go out.
We love the harness for our cat Tikka. She is still learning to wear it and is working on stepping into it. It's a bit less of a struggle, but I viewed pet parents helping their kitties to automatically step into it. We're getting closer. We took our lovely Tikka on a car ride and made sure she was first in her 'vest' (harness). Here's a picture of her happily modeling it as she goes on the car ride with us.
My cats love their harnesses. They can walk comfortably, jump, and climb. At the same time, it is secure and I don't feel like they will slip out from it. This has allowed us to explore new spaces! Only wish is that the leash was a bit longer. My lil guy is fast and the leash length makes it hard to keep up and give him maximal freedom of movement.
This is pretty easy to put on my cat and stays secure once it is on. The only challenge is getting my cat used to wearing it.
